ob Description - Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) Job Purpose To assess, plan, deliver, and review speech, language, and communication interventions for pupils, enabling them to access learning, develop communication skills, and achieve their full potential. The post holder will work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, and external professionals to support pupils' individual needs. Key Responsibilities Assess pupils' speech, language, and communication needs using appropriate assessment tools. Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes tailored to pupils' needs. Monitor, evaluate, and review pupil progress, maintaining accurate clinical records and reports. Provide advice, strategies, and training to teaching staff and parents/carers to support communication across the school environment.
