We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our Community Paediatric Service in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will be part of our vibrant and innovative team of Speech and Language Therapists working with pre-school and school-age children in nursery and school settings, in clinics, and in their homes. You will be confident at working with groups and in providing information and advice to families and other professionals. We put an emphasis on working collaboratively with professionals in Education and other agencies, as well as involving families in goal setting and support plans.
The Newcastle Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service is a specialist led service offering a high level of personal and professional support. Band 5 SLTs rotate through our core pathways in order to develop their clinical skills in a wide variety of key areas and with different service delivery models. This post would be an excellent development opportunity for a therapist seeking next steps within the profession, or a newly qualified Band 5 therapist looking for their first role.
