Park House School is an independent specialist school for autistic children and young people whose distress-related behaviours present barriers to mainstream education. Established in 2005 by a teacher, speech and language therapist, and clinical psychologist, the school is founded on a multidisciplinary model with therapy integrated into daily practice. Rated “Excellent” by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in 2023, we offer a nurturing, therapeutic environment where pupils are understood, valued, and supported to thrive.
Our close-knit community prioritises functional communication, emotional regulation, independence, and meaningful academic progress. Speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and psychology are fully integrated into the curriculum, ensuring collaborative, evidence-based support. We provide a broad, individualised curriculum that includes Functional Skills, ASDAN, GCSEs, vocational pathways, and life skills such as cooking, travel training, and personal care.
