Speech and Language Therapists

Interactions Speech and Language Therapy provides services to mainstream primary schools across Leeds and Yorkshire. We established in April 2017 and are delighted to be expanding our team to fulfil a growing demand. We are specialists in working within education settings and innovative in our approaches to fit the needs of a range of diverse schools.

The role is for 3-4 days per week, schools work only, term time only. We are a supportive and flexible employer. You will have access to a supportive, experienced team, CPD, and non-clinical time.

The post holder will work across a selection of settings and will be responsible for organising and managing their own clinical caseload. The service provided consists of planning across whole school settings, joint work with teaching staff, upskilling support staff, implementing classroom based interventions and support strategies, as well as assessment, diagnosis and intervention for individual children. The post holder is expected to have a knowledge of the education system, classroom practice and SEN guidelines and best practice. Regular supervision and support for professional development will be provided by the Lead SLT.
