We have an opening for a Band 6 in our Neighbourhood and Integrated Care Teams, where we are transforming how we work with education settings so that we can focus on delivering specialist intervention. We are looking for skilled therapists who want to further develop their clinical expertise and have an appetite for change that improves outcomes for children with SLCN.

As a Band 6 you will have access to further specialist training in your area of developing expertise. We also offer excellent supervision and development opportunities.

Main duties of the job

Work within an integrated children's therapy team for children aged 0-19. Provide assessment, review, specialist advice, training and therapy interventions for children with the following areas of need: alternative and augmentative communication (AAC); pre-verbal communication; receptive and expressive language; speech. Work in close partnership with schools, other education providers and the local authority services.

 There will be two interview rounds taking place, one will take place on 15th May 2023 and the second will take place on 31st May 2023.
