Speech and Language UK’s Bill Harrison Assessment Centre with Meath School, Ottershaw, Surrey

Speech and Language UK’s Bill Harrison Assessment Centre is an independent assessment service based on the site of Meath School. The multi-disciplinary team includes Specialist Teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologist and Occupational Therapist. The assessment service offers both multi-disciplinary and individual professional assessments to support families and local authorities in fully understanding a child’s profile of need as well as the type of provision required. Children seen by this service are usually between the ages of 3 and 14 with many cases falling at the younger end of this range.

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Speech and Language Therapist who wants to develop their career, skills and knowledge in a specialist service. Our assessment suite is well resourced and you would be working collaboratively with experienced colleagues of different disciplines. You will enjoy the opportunity to work with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs and make a difference to the education path they undertake following assessment.

If you are looking for a fresh challenge, then this role may be just what you are looking for. We offer supervision, frequent CPD, strong collaborative practice and peer support.
