Are you an experienced and motivated Speech and Language Therapist passionate about Speech Therapy and working with people who stammer or stutter? In this role, you will take responsibility for the coordination, planning, teaching and evaluation of courses for people who stammer or stutter and professional development training courses for Speech and Language Therapists. This role is critical in developing the curriculum to meet current opportunities, challenges and standards of best practice and you will support learners in planning their learning and progression, organising support for any additional needs. Other areas of responsibility will include recruiting, supervising and supporting part-time Tutors and other staff as appropriate and carrying out the necessary administrative and quality assurance procedures.

  • Familiarity with a range of technological equipment relevant to work with people who stammer.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills including skills in communicating with people with a wide range of communication impairments.
  • Knowledge of block modification therapy.
