West Heath is a special educational needs secondary school rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted, specialising in social, emotional and mental health difficulties. To support our students, we have our own onsite multi-disciplinary therapy department.
You will work closely with an experienced team of colleagues from a range of disciplines to further develop the provision of Speech and Language Therapy. You will be responsible for providing clinical assessments, reports, therapy programmes, advice and training as an integrated resource across the school. Working with the team you’ll take a holistic approach to support the needs of our students to help them reach their full potential.
Candidates should be registered to HCPC and be a member of RCSLT. A degree or an equivalent qualification in Speech and Language is required. Experience of working with children and young people and having a strong understanding of the social, emotional and mental health issues within this age group is essential.
