LEAD SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST

Salary Range 7: £40,150 (34 weeks Term Time)
ERS is an independent day school catering for up to 160 students between the ages of 6-19 who have a range of academic abilities and special educational needs. Most, but not all our pupils have Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated therapist to lead our experienced therapy team providing specialist support for pupils. We seek a therapist who wants to develop their career, skills and knowledge in an educational setting from key stage 2 to 5. Experience/interest of working with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs, specific learning difficulties and ASD is desirable.
This is an opportunity to develop clinical skills within an educational environment, offering the chance to work collaboratively with a range of professionals and to use therapeutic skills creatively to meet the needs of pupils. We offer excellent support from colleagues and staff, with regular supervision and access to internal and external training. We work in a multidisciplinary approach where therapists work with teachers to enhance the learning process of each individual student.
The ideal candidate will have:
RCSLT membership and HCPC registration.
Experience or interest of working in an educational environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humour.
