Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

We have a vacancy for a skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and supportive inter-disciplinary team, who support the best outcomes for the students through holistic and integrated programmes. You will work alongside another Speech and language Therapist in addition to a Speech and Language Therapy assistant and school staff implementing 1:1 and group SLT input. You will provide a range of intervention including individual and group therapy sessions, support and train parents and staff along with universal level provision. You will be offered relevant training, support and supervision.

Salary: £41,139 Full time

Reports to: Deputy Head

Location:  The Unicorn School, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 1AA

Hours of Work:  Full Time 0830-1600 Mon-Fri or Part Time 0830-1600 3 days per week. Term time only.

Job Summary: The main focus of the role will be to assess and support the students’ holistic communication needs, facilitating in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupils, ensuring they make best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
