What will you do as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant and what can the school offer you?

• Supporting children with mild-moderate SEN including Autism (ASD), Speech and Language issues, Communication and Social interaction issues, mild behaviour issues, and much more!

• Working with children in small groups and 1-1 support with a focus on Reading, Writing, comprehension, and Maths.

• Provide the children with a calm and supporting environment that strengthens their growth and development
• Be surrounded by hard-working, passionate, and knowledgeable staff, who will welcome you with open arms from day one!

Job description - Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

• Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
• Working in a Primary School
• Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
• September start - Full-Time & Long Term - Term Time Only
• 105 - 110 per day
• Located in the borough of Hackney

Person Specification - Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

• Have some experience with working with children
• Good understanding of SEN
• Passionate about supporting children
• You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and understanding
• A desire to help children to reach their full potential
