Undershaw is a popular over-subscribed school and owing to continued growth we are looking for a Head off Therapy to lead our existing team of therapists. Undershaw is a specialist setting where children from Year 3 to Post 16 with mild to moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, such as ASD, cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, and medical vulnerabilities can access the national curriculum and qualification pathways in a safe, secure, and friendly environment.
We are looking for an experienced therapist with a proven track record in leadership to continue to develop our team of therapists. Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a school environment or paediatric setting and have essential knowledge of relevant procedures and legal frameworks. You will be passionate about enhancing the students’ abilities to access their learning and be committed to embedding a holistic tiered model within the existing team.
You will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team and be one of the team of middle leaders within the school. As the leader of the therapy team, you will deliver school wide CPD training on therapeutic practise and will immerse yourself in school life.
