Location: Dagenham, Essex

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Long Term

Pay Rate: £100.00 - £130.00 per day

Active Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HLTA to join a fantastic mainstream Secondary School in Dagenham Essex on a long term basis. The purpose of the role will be to provide 1:1 and group-based specialist support to targeted pupils across Key stage 3 and 4, experience in Speech and Language is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to support them emotionally and socially as well as encouraging positive academic progress.

Requirements of the HLTA

• Available full-time and able to commit to a long-term position.
• Previous experience within a similar position
• Experience with Speech and Language
• Ability to empathise with the needs of each individual pupil
• Experience working with challenging behaviour is desirable
• Valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
