Due to exciting new developments, we have the following vacancies:
The Orpheus Centre in Godstone, Surrey: We provide speech and language therapy through group work with the seven core subject strands and deliver highly bespoke direct therapy to meet EHCP specifications.
Your role will be to:
- Deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy interventions to young adults within a specialist FE setting.
- Ensure the communication needs of young people are recognised and supported, empowering them to live their best lives.
- Commit to personal and professional development.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, carers, and other agencies.
Berkshire services: We provide speech and language therapy through regular individual and group therapy sessions, training others, and sharing great practice above and beyond EHCP specifications.
Your role will be to:
- Provide therapy full time as a mixed post to include 1-3 days of each of the following, depending on interest, skills, experience and opportunity. Locations in Slough or Bracknell.
- Deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy interventions to children and young people with Down Syndrome in schools
- Build on a strong and collaborative mainstream service one day a week in primary schools.
- Transforming lives in our Youth Justice service,
- Enhancing prospects in further education for young people with learning disability, Autism and Down Syndrome at College
- Ensure the communication needs of young people are recognised and supported, empowering them to live their best lives.
- Commit to personal and professional development.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, carers, and other agencies.
Kent DS services: Our desire at Symbol UK is for everyone with Down syndrome to have access to syndrome-specific speech and language therapy and support for communication and learning, so that they live their best lives.
Your role will be to:
- Be part of a skill mix model delivering syndrome specific therapy to children and young people with Down Syndrome.
- Deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy intervention to children and young people with support from specialist clinicians
- Enhance your skills and specialism: Symbol is a highly regarded provider of therapy for children, young people and adults with Down Syndrome, we will provide specialist training and offer career progression.
- Commit to personal and professional development.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, carers, and other agencies.
