Are you a Speech & Language Therapist looking for flexible work that fits around your life — and makes a real difference?

Join us at Uxbridge College’s brand-new, purpose-built SEND campus at Barra Hall, Hayes, opening September 2025. This vibrant new setting will support over 60 learners with SEND, including those with severe learning disabilities (SLD), in a truly inclusive and modern environment.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up, with state-of-the-art, accessible facilities and an embedded on-site multidisciplinary team — including SLTs, OTs, Physios and medical staff.

What’s in It for You?

Term-time only – work just 1 or 2 days per week

Hourly or day rate options available

Be part of a collaborative MDT, not just a drop-in therapist

Help embed SLT into curriculum delivery, not just 1:1 sessions

Join a brand-new, welcoming, purpose-designed SEND campus

What You’ll Be Doing:

Carry out assessments and design individualised therapy plans

Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions to support communication needs

Guide and train support staff to implement therapy strategies

Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to annual reviews

Maintain clear, professional documentation and monitor progress

What We’re Looking For:

Degree-qualified and HCPC registered SLT

Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills

Experience with SEND/SLD is a bonus, but not essential

Able to work independently and thrive in a supportive team

Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
