Our Private Client are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist for their team on a permanent basis. You will be based in specialist education settings across Blackpool and Preston, working independently delivering SLCN assessment and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and deliver tailored interventions to children and young people within specialist education settings.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, taking into account neurodiversity, developmental trauma, sensory needs, and physical disabilities to ensure holistic care.
• Offer supervision, mentoring, and support to junior SLTs and therapy assistants, contributing to a culture of professional growth and reflective practice.
• Keep detailed and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, outcomes, and communications in line with HCPC and RCSLT standards.

Requirements:

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Minimum of 2/3 years' experience working with children and young people.
• Must be able to practice wholly independently.
• Access to personal transport is essential.
