Band 5 role, pay depending on experience

Full time position (pro rata), term time only (37 weeks per year), 37 hours per week, worked over four days to include evening work up to 6:20pm

Required as soon as possible/30 August 2022

Mary Hare School is a specialist school for the deaf in Newbury, Berkshire. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Speech Therapists to join our well-established team. The Speech therapy team holds CEN meetings three times a year, regular journal clubs and ample opportunities for CDP and training. We also offer peer supervision and opportunities for NQTs to complete their competencies, fully supported.

Most importantly this job offers speech therapists opportunities to work closely with a caseload of pupils, with weekly sessions and active role in shaping and changing the lives of the pupils we support.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Speech and Language therapist to join our team. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team with Teachers of the Deaf, Audiologists, Teaching Assistants and a team of experienced Speech and Language Therapists. Working with a varied caseload comprising of primary, secondary and post 16 pupils. Opportunities for individual and group therapy as well as working within the classroom setting and CPD opportunities such as attending a regular CEN and other relevant training courses. You will have the chance to deliver training workshops to Teachers of the Deaf, specialist teaching assistants and parents.
