Due to an increase in our student numbers, we have some exciting opportunities available in our SLT department. Alderwasley Hall School is located in the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire and is split over 2 sites. We offer day and residential placements for students aged 5-19 years with Autism Spectrum Conditions and Developmental Language Disorder. You will have the opportunity to work in a school that promotes truly multi-disciplinary team working, where therapies, education and care staff all work together to make a difference to the lives of some amazing individuals.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPISTS (Banding dependent on experience)

Full-time and part-time opportunities

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapists to join our large team of therapists. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialised clinical skills and work with a range of different professionals within an educational setting. We are seeking SLTs with flexibility, integrity, resilience and a creative approach to therapy.  In return, you will receive fantastic support and bespoke CPD/development opportunities. You would be employed on a permanent basis and banding would be agreed dependent on experience.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY ASSISTANTS (Banding dependent on experience)

Full-time and part-time opportunities

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapy Assistants to join our large team of therapists.

The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on both sites with both SLT teams, supporting therapists with their caseload management.  This will include providing admin support (e.g. designing and preparing intervention materials, updating databases), providing routine intervention under direction from the team, supporting with the delivery of therapy groups amongst many other things.  In return, you will receive fantastic support and bespoke CPD/development opportunities.

It is expected that hours will be term time based, but flexibility to complete hours in holiday time would be beneficial at times.
