Speech and Language Therapist

Job Type: temporary 25 hours per week
We are currently seeking a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This part-time position offers 25 hours per week during term time only, ideal for those looking for a role that aligns with school schedules. The role is based in North London and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Day-to-day of the role:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication problems in children and young adults.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to improve clients' ability to communicate.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement comprehensive care plans.
Maintain detailed records of clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide training and support to family members and educational staff to support communication development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Experience working with children and/or young adults with communication difficulties.
Strong understanding of speech disorders and treatment options.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
