Position Overview:

We welcome applications from suitably qualified Speech and Language Pathologists who are eager to join our dynamic Paediatric team and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Prior experience and qualifications in Paediatric dysphagia are essential.

SLP 1:
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Junior Paediatric Speech and Language Pathologists to join our Dysphagia service. Candidates must have extensive experience of working with children with eating/drinking and infant feeding disorders, preferably in an outpatient (OPC) setting. Experience in objective instrumental assessment i.e. VFSS/FEES and/or working in an acute setting is highly desirable.

As a Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Pathology, you will provide care for patients aged 0-18 years within our Dysphagia Outpatient service. Additionally, you will help develop services for these patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes Dietitian’s and Physician’s (ENT/Pulmonology/GI/ Cardiology/Neonatology).
Clinical leadership experience in a specialized area of Speech and Language Pathology is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized Speech and Language Pathology services within our OPC
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to service and resource development in your specialist area

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience, including pediatric hospital or clinic experience
  • Expertise in Paediatric dysphagia and infant feeding disorders
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary team environment for assessment and treatment
  • Formal training in Paediatric Dysphagia
  • Formal training in infant feeding disorders and instrumental assessment VFSS/FEES is highly desirable
  • Licensure or registration in your country of origin, with eligibility for licensure in Qatar
