Salary: £34,000 – £50,000 depending on experience (Band 5–7 equivalent)

Join a supportive team of Speech & Language Therapists working in Croydon schools

Allen Speech and Language is looking for a Speech & Language Therapist to join our Croydon Schools Team, supporting children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) across a small group of schools.

You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and families to deliver evidence-based therapy for pupils with EHCPs, helping children develop the communication skills they need to thrive in education and everyday life.

You will join a supportive team of Speech & Language Therapists with regular clinical supervision and opportunities for professional development.

Applications are welcome from newly qualified and experienced therapists (Band 5–7).

About the role

You will support a caseload of pupils with speech, language and communication needs identified within their EHCPs, working across all areas of the Balanced System® model.

Your role will include:

• Assessing and supporting children with speech, language and communication needs

• Delivering evidence-based therapy and targeted interventions

• Working collaboratively with schools, SENCOs and families

• Contributing to EHCP reviews and professional reports

• Supporting schools to create communication-friendly environments

Depending on your interests, there may also be opportunities to work in:

• Mainstream schools

• Specialist SEMH provisions

• Early Years EHCP assessment services
