What you will do:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of complex swallowing and communication disorders within an acute inpatient setting.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide timely and effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Assist in training junior staff and peers, sharing your invaluable expertise.
• Maintain accurate records in line with professional standards.

Requirements:

• You will need a degree in Speech and Language Therapy recognised in the UK and be HCPC and RCSLT registered.
• Proven experience in managing an adult acute inpatient caseload is essential for this role.
• Postgraduate training in dysphagia is required.
• Although ideally suited for car drivers, assistance can be arranged to ensure transport is not a barrier.
