North London and Hertfordshire | Band 5 or 6 | £35K + depending on experience
Band 5 or 6 SaLT, looking for flexibility, career progression and a generous salary. We have opportunities to join our innovative therapy team, working Full Time, Part Time and/or Term Time in mainstream primary and secondary schools. £35K + (pro rata) depending on experience.
At ACCESS, we build your role around your career interests, aspirations and life commitments. As well as choosing the days you work, you’ll benefit from a personalised career development path, that includes one-to-one supervision, regular reviews, high quality training, and opportunities for progression within your role. You’ll get as much support and autonomy in your day-to-day work as you need. And you can adapt your working pattern as you develop too.
There’s no such thing as typical at ACCESS, but one of our therapists works four days a week in an innovative Alternative Provision setting, plus one day a week set aside for administration, CPD, planning, etc. Another works two afternoons a week in a mainstream primary and another day in a mainstream secondary. Talk to us about your preferences and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We offer all our therapists:
To be successful as an ACCESS Therapist, you must have experience of working in a school. You should also be unflappable, highly adaptable, and a great communicator. Ideally, you’ll also have a driving licence and access to a car, but that’s not essential.
At ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy, we specialise in connecting language with literacy and social skills, working with mainstream schools to help children achieve better outcomes, across the curriculum and in their future lives. It’s a proven approach, with measurable results, that we deliver in a flexible way to suit a school’s particular requirements.

ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy
ACCESS Speech and Language Therapy was founded in 2015 by John Cane. Our growing team of therapists work in schools across London and Hertfordshire.
Schools choose us to provide holistic assessment and innovative therapy for children from nursery to sixth form, working on a 1-1 basis or in groups. We currently have contracts with more than 15 schools.
Schools that we work with consistently rate ACCESS as their most effective form of intervention, and the best value for money.
We pride ourselves on the flexibility we offer to our therapists, and believe that the happiest therapists are those who have the opportunity to work in a way that suits their life.
Our services are always in demand by schools, so we usually have full time and part time opportunities available.
