Speech and Language Therapist (NQP/Specialist SLT)
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: £31,500 – £47,000 per annum (DOE)
Type: Permanent (Full-time or Part-time and open to NQPs)

My Journey SLT is a growing independent practice supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs across West Sussex. Based at our Cuckfield therapy centre, you’ll work across clinic,
home, and school settings, delivering evidence-based, child-centred therapy that empowers children to thrive.

The Role

You will manage your own paediatric caseload, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs, including:

  • Speech sound disorders
  • Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
  • Autism and neurodivergent profiles
  • Selective mutism and social communication needs

You will collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver meaningful, functional therapy and contribute to EHCP reports and reviews.

  • HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Member of the RCSLT
  • Passionate about supporting children and families
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
