Overview
An exciting opportunity to take a Speech and Language Therapy leadership role within Bairns' Hoose. Bairns' Hoose is a child-centred, trauma-informed, multi-agency service that supports children and young people through safeguarding and justice processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical, professional and strategic leadership for the service.
- Lead and deliver a Test of Change focused on embedding communication-inclusive practice.
- Shape how speech, language and communication differences are identified, understood and responded to, contributing to local improvement and national learning through safeguarding and justice processes.
- Conduct specialist assessment and formulation; develop practical communication profiles and adaptations.
- Deliver workforce training and reflective learning, contribute to quality improvement activity, and lead the Bairns' Hoose Test of Change.
- Work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment alongside social work, police, health and third sector colleagues.
Qualifications
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Member of RCSLT.
- Ability to work across locations including Bairns' Hoose and partner agency settings.
