You will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention to general medical wards, working with inpatients and outpatients on various communication difficulties. The closing date is 10 May 2026 We are looking for a motivated band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our forward-thinking and supportive acute team. We are moving towards a 7 day service in the acute setting and this post will be based at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, providing assessment and intervention to general medical wards across the hospital. You will have the opportunity to develop your dysphagia management skills and complete our in house dysphagia competency framework. The acute team also assess and provide input for a variety of communication and voice difficulties secondary to a wide range of medical conditions and diagnoses. Job responsibilities The team provides a service to inpatients and outpatients and also works on a domiciliary basis covering specialisms including voice, aphasia, dysfluency, dysphagia, progressive neurological conditions and AAC.
