‘Learning for Life’ defines the ethos and values of High Park as a school for pupils with Communication and Interaction difficulties. We have a unique place in the education system in Bradford and in providing a resource for pupils aged 3 - 19 who need our structures and approaches to learning. In 2024, we were honoured with the Platinum Bradford Healthy Minds Chartermark Award, making us the first special setting to be recognised as a Beacon School in mental health and demonstrates our commitment to mental health and well-being in the school community.

We are part of Carlton Academy Trust (CAT) which was established in 2019 from the outstanding success of Carlton Bolling, an inner-city Bradford secondary school. Today, we proudly oversee three secondary schools, three primary schools, and three special schools, collectively educating nearly 5000 students, and employing almost 1,000 members of staff. All CAT schools are rated either Outstanding or Good by Ofsted.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in mental health or education and are interested in joining a multi-disciplinary team combining teaching and therapeutic approaches; this presents a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the development and education of our children and young people. Ideal candidates will be hardworking, enthusiastic with a passion for supporting the delivery of excellent outcomes for the pupils in our care.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated Therapy Team at High Park School. If you’re a confident, reflective practitioner with a strong understanding of autism and developmental language needs, and a commitment to inclusive, pupil-centred practice, we would love to hear from you.

Employee welfare is extremely important to us, and we are proud to offer a comprehensive employee benefits package through the ‘Carlton Cares’ programme, designed to support colleagues physical, mental and financial well-being. These benefits include a fully funded Health Plan and an Employee Assistance Programme, in addition to salary sacrifice and employee discount schemes. Employee Benefits - Carlton Academy Trust
