Location: Ilford
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to support pupils' communication development within a welcoming and inclusive school setting.
In this role, you will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCo to deliver targeted interventions, helping pupils develop essential communication skills and access their learning more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group speech and language interventions
- Support pupils with EHCPs and personalised communication plans
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and support staff
- Provide guidance on creating communication friendly learning environments
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
- Work with a supportive and experienced SEN leadership team
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive staff culture
- Utilise dedicated spaces and resources for intervention delivery
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an education or SEND setting
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs
