NQP Speech and Language Therapist, Mixed Post SEN & Mainstream x2
We are looking for someone who has recently qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registration required) and is passionate about working with children and young people in diverse educational and community settings. Main Duties
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an NQP ready to begin their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be working across community and school settings, with a structured mix of clients and support:
- 2 days per week in a SEN school setting, as part of an established SLT team
- 3 days per week in a mainstream school

Job Responsibilities
- Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments to identify speech, language and communication needs using a range of standardised and non standardised tools.
- Diagnosis: Accurately diagnose a range of speech, language and communication disorders and provide verbal and written feedback to parents, carers and schools.
- Treatment Planning and Intervention: Collaboratively develop and implement individualised therapy plans with SMART targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with families, teachers and other healthcare professionals for a holistic approach.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor progress and adjust treatment plans; document and report progress.
- Education and Training: Provide training and advice to families, educational staff and other professionals.
- Clinical Governance and Professional Development: Engage in continual professional development and regular supervision.
- Resource Development: Create and adapt resources to meet individual children's needs.
- Ethical and Legal Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with professional standards and legal regulations.
- Caseload Management: Manage a clinic caseload, update records, book sessions and complete required admin within specified timeframes.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Knowledge of child development and early years education.
