Job Description: Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 6 Speech and Language for a locum assignment based within the Acute setting at an NHS hospital in Birmingham. The successful candidate will independently manage a caseload of complex patients with acquired swallow and communication difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex patients with dysphagia
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, and onward referrals
- Carry out clinical administration tasks
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years Acute hospital setting experience
- Dysphagia trained
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email
Essential Requirements
- Candidates must have NHS experience
- Candidates must hold HCPC registration
- Candidates must hold the right to work in the UK
