We are seeking a Locum Band 7 Community Speech and Language Therapist for a full-time, Community Stroke role based in Ilford. Responsibilities include providing clinical management and treatment for adult patients with an acquired swallowing and communication disorders stemming from a stroke, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient centred care across the community. Therapy requires prior NHS or similar experience, excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families and healthcare professionals, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice. A car is required for this role, as you will be travelling across the area.

• Expertise in treatment of adults with an acquired swallowing and communication disorders
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and medical teams
• Capability to assist with supporting for junior staff and colleagues
• Relevant professional registration (e.g., HCPC) and prior experience as a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist
• Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt to fast paced community healthcare settings

• Candidates must have NHS experience
• Candidates must hold HCPC registration
• Candidates must be a car owner
• Must have unrestricted right to work in the UK
