Job Description
Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist to join a Neuro Rehab Services team on a community based locum assignment in South East London. The postholder will provide specialist Speech & Language Therapy input for adults with a stroke diagnosis, working as part of a multidisciplinary, client centred rehabilitation service.
This role requires strong clinical expertise in adult neurology and confidence working independently within community environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist community based Speech & Language Therapy for adults with stroke
- Deliver high quality assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation interventions
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support client centred goals
- Apply specialist knowledge of adult neurology to guide clinical decision making
- Manage and prioritise a community caseload effectively
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records
Skills and Experience Required
- Specialist knowledge of adult neurology
- Strong understanding of community based rehabilitation environments
- Experience working with adults with stroke
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within an MDT
Essential Requirements
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7 level)
- Proven experience in adult neuro / stroke rehabilitation
- Ability to work across community settings
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK for the duration of the role
