Salary: up to £53,200 DOE FTE

Contract: Permanent - (52 weeks or flexibility around term time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the education team to deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs.
  • Operate within the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working, guiding your practice within an education setting and clarifying roles and responsibilities while meeting governing and professional requirements.
  • Hold a Speech and Language Therapy caseload with support from a designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician.
  • Contribute to staff training, consultation, and the broader clinical team's safeguarding and person centred approach.
Qualifications
  • BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registered and registered with the RCSLT
  • Relevant experience engaging and working with individuals presenting with complex and diverse communication profiles
  • Knowledge of neurodiversity, trauma informed practice, and multi disciplinary working in a range of settings
  • Strong relationship building, analytical and judgemental skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Competence in core areas of SaLT practice and clear understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies, plus ability to formulate support plans based on needs profiles
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and its implications for clinical practice and professional management
  • Willingness to attend training and work towards further qualifications relevant to the client group
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
