Advanced Speech & Language Therapist - specialised neuro rehabilitation to adults across community settings. Autonomy managing a complex caseload while contributing to person centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highly specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention for adults with complex communication and swallowing difficulties
- Independently manage a complex caseload, taking responsibility for clinical decision making, care planning, and discharge
- Provide expert advice, training and support to multidisciplinary team members, carers and partner agencies
- Lead and contribute to service development, audit activity and implementation of evidence based practice
- Act as a key worker, coordinating interdisciplinary care and supporting effective rehabilitation pathways
- Supervise and support junior staff, assistants and students, promoting learning and professional development
- Maintain accurate clinical records, contribute to data collection and ensure compliance with professional and organisational standards
Knowledge, Training, Qualifications and Experience Required
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent with HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
- Significant postgraduate experience including advanced level knowledge in dysphagia and neuro rehabilitation
- Evidence of specialist training, continued professional development and application of evidence based practice
- Demonstrable experience managing complex cases and working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
- Proven experience of supervision, teaching and supporting development of others
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards and multi agency working practices
