Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Speech and Language Therapist to work in our Speech and Language Therapy services across Bolton.

Responsibilities
  • Work with children and young people with speech, language, and communication difficulties across the borough.
  • Independently assess children using a range of informal and formal assessments.
  • Provide verbal and written advice, develop therapy programmes, and deliver written advice supporting Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews.
  • Train parents, staff and practitioners in therapy strategies in diverse settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, education staff, and external agencies.
  • Work with bilingual clients where appropriate and support specialist practitioners.
Qualifications
  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
  • HCPC licence to practice and registered member of RCSLT (newly qualified or experienced Band 5).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills and proven ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic interventions for paediatric caseloads.
