As our Clinical Lead, you will be the driving force behind Speech & Language Therapy services across the Clinic. Acting as both an expert clinician and influential leader, you will play a key role in shaping strategy, improving pathways, and embedding best practice across multidisciplinary teams. You'll work across a varied and complex caseload - including head & neck and critical care - while leading innovation, research, and service development within a forward thinking therapies team.

• Provide outstanding clinical leadership, supporting complex patient caseloads and acting as a specialist resource for Therapies, Nursing and wider MDT colleagues.
• Deliver expert patient care, using advanced clinical reasoning to assess, diagnose and develop personalised management plans for patients with complex and multi layered needs.
• Lead service development and innovation, working collaboratively with Clinical Leads to continuously enhance patient pathways and outcomes.
• Drive research and audit activity, contributing to the evidence base and integrating best practice into everyday clinical delivery.
• Champion education and capability building, promoting learning and upskilling across multidisciplinary teams.
• Shape strategic direction, contributing to operational policies and supporting the development of a strong rehabilitation ethos across the Clinic.
• Ensure clinical governance and compliance, maintaining high standards in line with HCPC and RCSLT requirements.

• Significant experience as a Speech & Language Therapist, ideally within acute or complex clinical settings.
• Advanced clinical expertise, with proven ability to manage diverse and complex presentations.
• Experience in leadership, service development, audit and research.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across the MDT.
• A strong commitment to evidence based practice and continuous improvement.
• Registration with the HCPC and a thorough understanding of RCSLT professional standards.
