Job Introduction

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to support children with severe to moderate learning difficulties and SEMH challenges across our primary, secondary, and specialist settings. This new role provides an opportunity to design and deliver high quality therapy programs and embed inclusive practice schoolwide.

About the role

You will lead the provision of speech and language therapy, supporting pupils with varied needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and developing a high quality therapy program
  • Delivering specialist, outcome focused interventions
  • Embedding therapeutic strategies across the curriculum
  • Training staff to enhance inclusive practice
  • Collaborating with colleagues, families, and external professionals for a holistic approach to care and education
About you
  • HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist with RCSLT Qualified Practitioner competencies
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting
  • Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Organised, proactive and committed to student wellbeing
