About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist educational setting in Market Bosworth. This role involves working directly within a school environment, providing high quality communication assessments, interventions, and support for children and young people with diverse and complex needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work collaboratively with teachers, SEN teams, and multi disciplinary professionals to help pupils achieve meaningful progress in communication, learning, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist SALT assessments, intervention plans, and therapy sessions.
- Work with children presenting with SEN, SEMH, PMLD, developmental language disorders, CAMHS-level needs, and neurodiverse profiles.
- Support EHCP processes and contribute to communication focused strategies within the school.
- Provide consultation, advice, and training to staff to enhance communication support across the setting.
- Work closely with families, teachers, and wider professionals to ensure consistent, holistic support.
Requirements
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
- Experience working with children and young people in school, SEN, CAMHS, or specialist learning environments.
- Strong assessment, communication, and multidisciplinary working skills.
- Commitment to delivering inclusive, child centred therapy.
