Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation service supporting adults with complex neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries and spinal cord injuries across two inpatient sites in Northamptonshire.

Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will manage a highly specialist caseload, delivering assessment and intervention for individuals with complex communication and swallowing needs.

You will play a vital role in helping residents maximise independence, improve quality of life and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLT looking to further develop their neurorehabilitation expertise within a supportive environment that encourages autonomy, clinical leadership and service development.

Salary: £44,340 per annum
Position: Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Neurological Rehabilitation and Complex Care
Location: Daventry and Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a specialist neurorehabilitation speech and language caseload.
  • Complete communication and swallowing assessments.
  • Deliver evidence-based dysphagia interventions and management plans.
  • Lead communication and therapeutic group sessions.
  • Support families and carers throughout rehabilitation pathways.
  • Provide training and supervision to staff and therapy assistants.
  • Contribute to MDT meetings and care planning.
Qualifications
  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Experience managing dysphagia assessment and treatment.
  • Neurological rehabilitation experience.
  • Experience supporting families and carers.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
