Role: Speech and Language Therapist
Hours: Part time 3 days per week 24 hours
Location: Spring Hill School, Ripon, North Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: Pro rota £42,170 per annum - depending on experience

Job Role

As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with a range of individuals to maximise their potential and to enable them to enjoy the best possible quality of life. As a SLT, you will be independently working with individuals and groups to assess social communication needs in a range of environments. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and support the implementation of the therapeutic approach across the environment.

You will respond to referrals and be responsible for ensuring an inclusive communication environment is maintained, audits are completed and the RCSLT 5 good communication standards are utilised. A key aspect of your role will be to work effectively as part of the companywide SLT team and contribute to service development.

About You

The successful candidate for this role will have a degree or a postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will have experience working with individuals that have Autism Spectrum Condition, Challenging Behaviour, CAMHS experience desirable.
