Help transform the lives of young people with dyslexia.

Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking for a role where your expertise will make a genuine, measurable difference every day?

At Frewen College, one of the UK's longest-established specialist schools for pupils with dyslexia and co-occurring Specific Learning Difficulties, you'll join an exceptional multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping every student achieve their full potential.

Last year's Year 11 cohort saw more than 50% of students achieve up to two GCSE grades above their baseline predictions—a reflection of the collaborative, evidence-based support at the heart of everything we do.

Why Frewen College?

This is much more than a school-based Speech and Language Therapy role. You'll become part of a highly collaborative environment where therapists, teachers and specialist staff work together to deliver outstanding outcomes for young people. Therapy isn't delivered in isolation—it's embedded throughout school life, helping students develop the confidence, communication and literacy skills they need to flourish both inside and outside the classroom.

Professional development is also central to our culture. We actively support continuing professional development and encourage our therapists to develop specialist expertise while contributing to the school's ambitious long-term vision.

● Protected planning and administration time built into every therapy session.
● Deliver a varied caseload through one-to-one therapy, group work and classroom support.

● Beautiful countryside location with easy access to Rye, Hastings and London.
● Generous school holiday allowance supporting an excellent work-life balance.

The Role:

Working across Years 7 to Sixth Form, you'll assess, diagnose and support pupils with dyslexia and co-occurring speech, language and communication needs, helping them access learning and reach their full potential.

You'll be responsible for:

● Delivering evidence-based one-to-one and group therapy.
● Completing speech, language and communication assessments.
● Supporting classroom strategies and inclusive learning.
● Contributing to EHCPs, annual reviews and therapy reports.
● Supporting ISO-informed systems of practice through robust

are passionate about developing specialist expertise in this area.
