Job Title: Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist
Banding: Band 6/7
Location: London, Greater London
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with potential for extension
Rate: £24 - £34 per hour
Working hours: Full-time or Part-time
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Demonstrate specialist clinical expertise in the assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment and management of dysphagia and communication in adult acute patients.
- Provide appropriate specialist assessment, intervention and evaluation of outcomes in line with current evidence based practice and outcome measures.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, maintain meticulous records and documentation and ensure strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
- Extensive experience in adult acute speech and language therapy.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
