Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Grade: Band 6/7 (as applicable)

Location: Mitcham, Surrey

Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our client's specialist team in Mitcham, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The role is available on a locum basis with an immediate start and offers competitive rates.

• Deliver specialist therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex communication needs.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
• Support and guide staff teams, contribute to care planning, and provide training and supervision.
• Take initiative, demonstrate creativity, and commit to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Proven experience delivering therapy to children and young people with complex needs.
• Experience supporting teams around a child or young person.
• Confident, engaging, and effective in modelling, guiding, leading, and training.
• Highly organised and proactive.
• Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
• Experience in team supervision and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Must be a car driver due to travel requirements.
