We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children's Speech and Language Therapy Team in Coventry. Whether you are a newly qualified therapist looking for your first post or an experienced Band 5 seeking a new challenge, we can offer a rewarding role with excellent opportunities for support and professional development.
You will work with children and young people aged 0-19 years, supporting a wide range of speech, language and communication needs across a variety of settings. Our therapists work collaboratively with families, education settings and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure children and young people achieve the best possible outcomes.
Main duties of the jobThe Children's Speech & Language Therapy Team aims to provide a high quality service to children, young people and their families. We provide assessment, interventions, and advice to children and young people aged 0-19 with a Coventry GP. We also support children in Coventry special schools and specialist settings with an Education, Health & Care Plan. We have developed clinical pathways and a competency programme in Speech, Language, Voice , Stammering, Dysphagia, Deafness, Cleft Palate, Alternative & Augmentative Communication and young children "At Risk" of SLCN.
