Bank Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Band 6 Overview Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention to children and young people with complex communication needs and dysphagia. Support parents, school staff and other professionals and liaise with the multi disciplinary team. Responsibilities Assess needs, develop and implement Speech and Language Therapy treatment for children referred to the SLT service in mainstream schools. Analyse auditory, visual and kinaesthetic aspects of children's communication and identify strategies to enhance communicative effectiveness.
