Chrysalis Multi-Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing Inclusion team, working across our three schools: Claremont High School, Sudbury Primary School and Mount Stewart Federation. This is an exciting opportunity to develop high-quality provision that helps pupils overcome communication barriers and thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Working closely with SENCOs, staff, families and external professionals, you will assess pupils’ speech, language and communication needs and deliver targeted individual and small-group interventions. You will provide specialist advice, practical strategies and staff training to promote communication-friendly classrooms, contribute to EHCP assessments and recommendations where appropriate, and support effective transitions between primary and secondary education.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification and current HCPC registration, with experience of supporting children and young people with a range of communication needs. Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills, alongside a commitment to inclusive education, are essential.
We offer a supportive and collaborative team, professional development opportunities and a varied, rewarding role combining direct work with pupils and wider staff development. The Trust will provide access to and time for appropriate clinical supervision.
At Chrysalis MAT, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their needs or starting points, has the opportunity to achieve, belong and thrive.

Our purpose is to deliver high quality education and provide outstanding opportunities to ensure all pupils, regardless of their background, ability, culture or gender, receive the challenge, support and experiences to reach their full potential and succeed in adult life.
We value the difference in all our schools and recognise the importance of each one retaining their individual identity and leading in a way that best responds to the requirements of their children and local communities. That is why there is no one-size-fits-all approach at Chrysalis MAT.
We offer our schools unrivalled support and expertise in teaching and learning, mental health and wellbeing, leadership and professional development, which is tailored to fit their phase, context and needs. The central services that are then delivered by our highly qualified and experienced central team allows our schools to focus their attention on the children. This combination of autonomy, collaboration and support, underpinned by our shared vision and values, is what makes Chrysalis MAT so unique.
We have a strong track record in school improvement and have been presented a number of awards and accreditations such as the prestigious World Class Schools Mark, Flagship Inclusion Quality Mark and the Association for Physical Education (afPE). We continuously seek to support not only schools within Chrysalis MAT, but other local and national schools too through our extensive number of partnerships and initiatives. In doing so, we hope to achieve our key objectives of reducing educational inequality and improving the life chances of all our young people.
Whether you are a school or staff member looking to join our family or a parent looking to send your child to one of our schools, we would love to hear from you.
