Lighthouse Education Trust is a completely unique Multi Academy Trust focussing on providing high quality, destination led learning for students with a diagnosis of autism. Lighthouse School Leeds is a completely unique secondary school focussing on providing high-quality, destination-led learning for students with a diagnosis of autism. We are a happy and vibrant community, where young autistic people learn, flourish and thrive. Currently, we have 93 students on roll aged 11 to 19 years.
Students study KS3, and a range of Level 1/2 and Level 3 qualifications, including BTECs and GCSEs.

As an expanding provision across the region, Lighthouse School is seeking to appoint a Speech and Language Therapist to grow with the school as we meet our vision to provide outstanding education for our students.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and experienced therapist to work as part of a highly supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving outcomes for our students. As Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a key role in providing our students with co-existing language disorders and learning disabilities with universal, targeted and specialist levels of support.

Contract: Full time, Permanent, Term Time (38 weeks) plus 112.5 additional hours (equivalent of 15 days equivalence)


FTE salary: SCP 27 – 31, FTE £38,220 – £41,771 per annum
Actual salary £34 515 to £37 722 per annum (pay award pending) 

This is seen as a role that would be appropriate for an experienced Band 5 or developing Band 6 practitioner

certificate is required for the successful applicant, and all newly appointed staff who
