Purpose of Role

We are recruiting an enthusiastic HCPC Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join Sunny Hill School. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities.

As part of the wider Clinical Team, you will benefit from strong support from our in house Clinical Team and Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Intervention and consultation
  • Play a key role in the provision of high quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities
  • Work with the support of other professionals within our Clinical Team in this varied and rewarding role
Requirements
  • HCPC registration (requirement)
  • Have an interest in attachment and developmental trauma
  • Post qualification experience of SEN education
  • Familiarity with a variety of SALT assessment tools and interventions, appropriate to the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
  • Passionate champions of students with SEND
  • Have a full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
