Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Hillingdon, Uxbridge, Isleworth - London
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £58,000 per annum (DOE) plus a welcome bonus of £2,000 (distributed as: £1,000 after 3 months and £1,000 after probation)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and motivated Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our expanding multi disciplinary team working primarily in mainstream school settings within the Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Isleworth area.
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping inclusive education strategy. You will implement universal strategies and targeted interventions across mainstream schools, deliver high quality workforce development, and empower staff to support whole school communication.
- Deliver staff training and consultations.
- Supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants.
- Create and support communication inclusive environments.
- Partner in multidisciplinary intervention planning.
- Drive whole school communication strategies.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary and teaching teams across various school settings, you will ensure interventions are modelled and integrated into school life, equipping key adults to support pupils in achieving therapy goals. You will operate through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice, ensuring children and young people receive the right level of support at the right time.
Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting.
- Highly proficient in providing professional and clinical supervision.
- Highly proficient in developing training.
- Experience implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions.
- Experience working with complex behaviours.
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans.
- Specialist CPD and/or training.
- Trauma informed care experience.
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional and mental health needs.
